Charges: attempted to murder two border policemen
The prosecution filed serious charges against Musa Ajalouni, a terrorist who tried to stab to death two border policemen in the Old City

The terrorist Mousa Mohammed Ajalouni
Jerusalem District Attorney (Criminal) filed this morning (Sunday) with the District Court in the city charges against Musa Ajalouni, 20, a resident of East Jerusalem, with respect to two counts of attempted murder and two counts of aggravated assaulting police officers.
According to the indictment, Ajalouni tried to cause the deaths of two police officers through repeated stabbing in the their upper bodies out of a nationalistic motive, after deciding to carry out a terrorist act which would kill a police officer or an Israeli soldier and then cause his own death. Two police officers suffered injuries as a result of stab wounds and one of them suffered serious injury in his hand.
According to the indictment, filed by Attorney Jenny Avni, during 2014 Musa Ajalouni came to a decision to carry out a terrorist act which would kill a police officer or an Israeli soldier and would then cause his own death.
On the morning of the 26/12/14 he came running to the border police check point at the Lion's Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem, with a large slaughter knife in his hand. When he saw two police officers who entered the point, he attacked them and began stabbing them both with the knife again and again in their upper bodies in order to murder them. The police tried to control him, and even when the knife fell from his hand, he fought with his fists and attacked the policeman who tried to control him. Ajalouni then fled the scene. Two police officers suffered injuries as a result of stab wounds.
In the actions described above, the defendant attempted to unlawfully cause the death of two police officers, in addition, he attacked the two policemen when he was armed with cold weapons and the assault is related to fulfilling their duties by law.
