"Anyone who saw Arye on the retirement day at the Knesset of that Wednesday night and sees him today thinks they are two different people. You saw then that he was upset, torn and determined. I do not know if it's a spin, but one of Arye's missed opportunities is that he did not place a camera in that meeting. If there was a recording from the meeting it would be easier to convince that it's not a spin.
"Arye was in a serious emotional state, he was torn, determined. Anyone who understands body movements saw his face. We know Arye in his difficult times, we knew him in the most difficult hurdle he passed - he did not look like on the night of retirement.
"Today he is more relaxed, is more cohesive and motivated to fulfill the mission of the rabbis. From this moment we're out on a full time job in the campaign," said MK Yaakov Margi to Behadrey Haredim this morning (Monday), following the dramatic announcement of party chairman Aryeh Deri on his return to the leadership of the movement.
Was it agreed how to relate to Eli Yishai in the future?
"It had reference with looking forward, looking at the bright side. There is no work plan to look at what Eli Yishai does or what he says. We deal first of all with our hard core, the public which is waiting for us."
Is there a fear of additional recordings?
"Blessed are those who are in constant fear. One must not be built and should not make work plans by fears".
