Israel froze the transfer of half a billion shekels to the Palestinian Authority, in response to their offer to be accepted to the International Court in The Hague, a fact confirmed tonight (Saturday) by a political source.

According to Palestinian sources, and with the approval of Israeli officials, Israel decided to freeze the transfer of funds to the Palestinian Authority. This is tax money Israel collects for the Palestinian Authority.

A decision was made during a discussion held on the subject with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday after the Palestinian Authority submitted a request to join the International Criminal Court in The Hague and 17 other international treaties.

Another comment that Israel examines is Prosecuting Palestinians for war crimes. Jerusalem will promote these claims by NGOs and legal organizations, pro-Israelis working abroad.

A senior State Department said that additional measures in favor of the Palestinians joining the International Court of Justice in The Hague will lead to consequences for the assistance provided to them by Americans.
