Shortly after he was released from the hospital - Rabbi Eliezer Berland, community leader of Shuvu Banim, married tonight (Motzaei Shabbos) a local couple in Amsterdam.
Rabbi Eliezer Berland served as messader kiddushin for a local couple. The marriage was meant to take place two days ago, on Thursday night.
The couple postponed the wedding following the hospitalization of the rabbi. Tonight (Saturday night) after his release, the rabbi stressed that it is important to him to hold the chupah tonight and not postpone it until tomorrow.
As was widely reported in Behadrey Haredim, Harav Berland lost consciousness during Thursday and was taken to hospital, where he had a pacemaker successfully transplanted on Friday.
