Good news: improvements in Ayala Shapira's condition

Exactly one week after was severely injured, Ayala Shapira, 11, who was hit by a Molotov cocktail near Maale Shomron, awoke from anesthesia, identified the relatives who were in the hospital and communicated with them.

"I want to say thank you to everyone, on the way here I received a phone call and I was told that Ayala woke up," said the mother, Ruth excitedly, "Avner (father) standing beside her, speaks with her, she recognizes him and can recognize my voice on the phone and responds to simple instructions".

"We see this week the power of prayer," she added excited. "We feel we are carried by a miracle because from the moment of the attack, Ayala is being carried in the most seamless was possible. It's just unbelievable; we ask that everyone continue to pray for her. She's still not out of danger - we still have a long way to go".

Sheba Hospital - Tel Hashomer said that "as part of the treatment we wean her slowly off the anesthetic drugs. There is a general improvement in her condition but she is still in a difficult situation, she is not fully conscious, still on a respirator and not out of danger".

Please continue to pray for Ayala bat Ruth for a full recovery.
