About six months after the attack at the Jewish Museum in the center of Brussels, French police arrested five suspects in cooperation with the terrorist Mahdi Nahmush. Suspects are now in detention in Marseille. This is the first detainees since the attack, besides terrorist himself.

According to the report French television station BFMTV, were arrested this morning (Tuesday) five people, three men and two women, have no relation, suspected of assisting terrorist to carry out the attack at the Jewish Museum, an attack which claimed the lives of four people, including Miriam and Emanuel Riva, An Israeli couple on a trip to the city, as well as the reception desk worker and the young man Alexander Stearns who had just got a job at the place.

Last Friday, the central suspect's detention was extended, for another three months. Nahmush, was a member of the "Islamic state" in Syria and tortured Syrian and foreign hostages. Nahmush is suspected that carried out the attack shortly after returning from the Civil War in Syria, where he fought alongside the armed extremist terrorist organization ISIS. He was arrested six days later in Marseilles in southern France, and the French authorities were informed that possession of a weapon and a camera in which he confessed his responsibility for the terrorist attack.

Nahmush burst into the Jewish Museum, while shooting with his Kalashnikov rifle in all directions. He managed to escape from the place by car. According to security cameras, he wore a cap. About a week later, he was arrested in Marseilles, carrying a pistol and a rifle of the kind used for the attack. Later, Mehdi Nahmush was extradited to Belgium Police.
