The infant was treated by paramedics and evacuated through Magen David Adom ambulance to Schneider Hospital in Petach Tikva.

Testimonies passers-by, the ambulance driven by a Shabbos goy, was driving quickly even before the occurrence of the accident. A toddler who was walking with her family on the road, as is the case on Shabbos in Bnei Brak, hadn’t managed to escape to the sidewalk, was struck out and was injured.

"The road was crowded with pedestrians, it is unclear why the ambulance chose to speed despite there being pedestrians, and without using a siren," said one witness tp behadrey haredim.

He said that after a gathering started at the scene of the accident, and there was shouting against the Arab driver, the Shabbos goy, the offending driving got into the ambulance, and left. Dan Region police say that so far there were no reports on the driver's exceptional driving and leaving the area during the care of the patient.
