Charge: 'Aish' Treasurer stole 237,000 USD

Yaakov Fetman, finance director of Aish HaTorah in New York, is accused of stealing 237,000 dollars, Ken Thompson, the Brooklyn district attorney announced yesterday (Thursday).
Fetman today was brought before a judge, and the prosecutor argued that "the defendant failed in its role, and stole donations". Fetman, 45 turned himself in and was released on bail of $ 25,000.
Fetman's trial was set for February 4. If convicted he faces 15 years in prison.
Fetman served for 17 years as CFO of the organization 'Aish HaTorah' in New York.
He entrusted the donations contributed to the organization of three separate bank accounts of which he had authorized signatory, and passed some of it to a bank account of his own organization called "Center".
