Sudden tragedy: Rabbi Meir Dov Roth z"l

Tragedy: scholar Rabbi Dov Meir Roth z"l from Ashdod died suddenly at the age of 43.

Rescue teams were called to the home of his parents, on Rabbi Uziel Street in Bnei Brak, where after prolonged resuscitation he was pronounced dead.

The deceased, was born in Bnei Brak in תשל"א to his father, Rabbi Zvi Eliezer Roth, Central Synagogue Gabay, Ponovicz Bnei Brak, and leaders of Bnei Torah.

During his youth he studied at the Hebron Yeshiva-Givat Mordechai, and later at the Grodno Ashdod, where he was a favorite student and was close to his teacher and mentor Rosh Yeshiva Hgrd"tz Karelnstein. He was touch with him personally.

After his marriage he moved to Ashdod to reside close to the yeshiva, where he continued to study and work on the Torah and held an evening kollel at the yeshiva "Simchat Avraham"

He left after him three sons and a daughter.

The funeral will be held this evening at 22:00 from his parents home and at 23:30 from the central synagogue Chanichei Hayeshivos in Ashdod, to the cememtery in the city where he will be buried.
