US official recommendation: Circumcision provides protection from disease

Circumcision is healthy and helps prevent infection of disease dangerous, according to the - (CDC) CDC, International Center for Disease.

Center experts, who study these last seven years, determined that circumcision is not only dangerous but is a healthy act.

The center is going to issue guidelines which states that, "clear scientific evidence suggests that the benefits outgrow disadvantages of circumcision".

The position paper to be published in the coming days in the US will help many Jewish communities around the world who struggle with observance of circumcision.

Three years ago the religious community in California raged, when a resident of San Francisco collected petition signatures against the existence of circumcision. The petition states that the circumcision is damaging to health.

ADL in San Francisco, Daniel Sandman, said at the time that it was discriminatory and wrong, and the initiative was halted by the Supreme Court in San Francisco.

In Europe there have been attempts to ban the circumcision, Parliament of the Council of Europe decided last year, a majority vote against holding the circumcision for children and considered denial of the existence of circumcision in the Netherlands, Norway and Germany.
