Brothers Yaakov and Shmuel Halperin, together with the contractor Elazar Ofek, purchased the land formerly known as Shefa Shuk and today, Zol BeShefa, on Hashlosha Street in Bnei Brak. This is an area of about 20 acres, and was acquired at a huge deal estimated at $ 50 million.
According to sources, the two are planning to build a large and modern housing project, as well as a large and wide commercial compound. A number of Israeli companies have already opened negotiations to establish the planned store area.
The transaction agency was made by "Yeshuv Haaretz" under the direction of the real estate firm Leah Fligman.
