Fit to stand trial: Rabbi Berland released from hospital in Netherlands
Community leader of Shuvu Banim was hospitalized with bleeding in his leg and was released after a few hours - a day before the verdict concerning his extradition to Israel

Rabbi Eliezer Berland, community leader of 'Shuvu Banim', was released after a few hours from hospital in the Netherlands where he was hospitalized.
Today (Sunday) afternoon Rabbi Berland suffered of a hemorrhage in his leg in the middle of reception of his followers who came to stay with him on Shabbos. Rabbi Berland was taken by his vehicle to a local hospital - where he was hospitalized for a few hours, and then released to his apartment with his wife the Rebbetzin, and a doctor who remain to oversee his condition.
Tomorrow the court's decision in the case of an extradition request filed by the State of Israel, is expected to be issued.
As mentioned, prior to issuance of the decision, hundreds of his followers and admirers arrived to spend time with him, and some returned following the rabbi's hospitalization.
