Exclusive: policeman recalls the massacre before Rabbi Chaim • Watch

Unusual visit took place today (Sunday) afternoon at the residence of Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky on Rashbam Street in Bnei Brak: Itzik Weizmann the policeman, who was involved in the elimination of the terrorist during the massacre in Jerusalem's Har Nof neighborhood - came to receive the blessing of Rabbi Chaim after recovering from the attack.

Itzik Weizmann a traffic cop, who arrived with the help of a complex logistical operation of Yad Sarah, told Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky about the chain of the horrific attack and the moments of the assassination operations.

Itzik said to Rabbi Chaim: "I shot at one terrorist and killed him, I shot at a second and I hurt him, I acted out of a desire to save people and rescue them, I realized that this is a serious incident and I have to act as quickly as possible."

Master Sergeant Itzik Weizmann of the Traffic Police Jerusalem District was the first officer at the scene; he confronted the terrorists and resulted in their deaths. During the incident, two shots were fired at his hip and he was hospitalized in fair condition at Shaare Zedek.

His colleague, Officer Zidane Saif - was fatally wounded and later died.
