Livni for Zoabi: This morning (Wednesday) Justice Minister Tzipi Livni appealed to the cabinet secretary against the debate of Zoabi Law coalition leadership and committees for legislation and thus removed the agenda from the plenum.
The law was discussed on Sunday by the Ministerial Committee for Legislation; however, since this is the amendment of the Basic Law Committee, it was decided to discuss the management of the coalition.
Following submission of Justice Minister Knesset Member Danny Danon said, "Tzipi Livni, I cannot believe it: You who grew up a Revisionist, you were part of the Herut and Likud – you serve here in the government and the Knesset as attorney of the enemies of the people, supporting terrorists who supports criminal enemies of Israel? "
He added: "Attorney Tzipi Livni's decision to serve as her attorney of Satan Hanin Zoabi? I think you should now get up and do the act of a member of your party, Amir Peretz, and resign from the government. In light of your actions in general, and the act of the day in particular - there is no place longer with us.
By law initiated by the Chairman of the Constitutional Committee, MK David Rotem will be enough majority of 61 MKs to oust him from office serving Knesset member expressed thanks to acts of terrorism and sabotage. The existing law allows disqualifying a candidate for the Knesset who expressed support for terrorist organizations or armed struggle but did not dismiss. The law was submitted after several expressions of Balad MK Hanin Zoabi.
Rotem responded to the appeal of Livni: 'No country in the world does not allow people to undermine the very foundations and support for terrorist organizations to serve as members of parliament. The bill I initiated and submitted signed by most of the factions and surprising that populist parties and electoral considerations appealed the decision. The last word has not been said, and Israel Beiteinu will continue to struggle for promoting of law.
