Mrs. Fruma Elyashiv • eldest daughter in law of Rav Elyashiv

Baruch Dyan Haemes: Mrs. Fruma Elyashiv, wife of Rabbi Shlomo Elyashiv, eldest son of Hgry"sh Elyashiv, passed away last night. She was 78 at her death.

The deceased a"h was born in Jerusalem on 12th Sivan תרצ"ו to her father Rabbi Tanchum Dunin zt"l, one of the Rabbis of Haifa, and her mother Mrs. Tzipporah a"h.

During her lifetime she stood alongside her husband Hagaon Rabbi Shlomo Elyashiv.

She brought up and educated her children to Torah and Yiras Shamayim and asked them to learn like their grandfather – Hgry"sh Elyashiv zt"l.

The family tells of a great woman who gave up her life for Torah and Chessed, helping of the needy, she was full of Chessed.

She left after her a generation of sons and sons in law and dozens of descendants.

Her funeral will leave today at 12:00 from the Shamgar Funeral Home to Har Hamenuchos where she will be laid to rest.
