Behadrey Haredim poll proves: Shas maintains its strength and contrary to the trend observed in other surveys.

Survey by TRI company headed by Dr. Arie Rotem and Uri Alman for Behadrey Haredim, shows that Shas would remain relatively stable and it gets 10 seats – were the elections held today.

In recent months, the survey predicts Shas 5-7 seats. In view of the surveys public debate has emerged in the Haredi political system, if these surveys are based on a web sample, indeed can sample the ultra-Orthodox community without bias.

Therefore Behadrey Haredim invited comprehensive survey which conducted a telephone poll. Significant differences were found between the surveys and the survey conducted by Behadrey Haredim. Apparently this proves the polls cloud-based offerings that do not properly reflect the opinion of the ultra-Orthodox voters.

According to the poll, Likud won 27 seats and maintains stability, the Jewish home wins 17 and in the other surveys is the second largest party in the Knesset, Avodah also remained stable with 12 seats.

Israel Beiteinu drops to 8, Yesh Atid 10, and Shas as stated won 10 seats. Together with Yahadut Hatorah winning 8 seats, the ultra-Orthodox representation retains power.

Party of Moshe Kahlon in this poll wins 6 seats, Uri Alman who performed the survey explains: "the party of Kahlon is unknown, Kahlon did not present his members so support is unstable and ranges from 6 seats more or less" .

More Mandates data: Meretz - 8, Hatnua 3 - Arab parties - 11, Kadima does not pass the threshold.

The real poll is Election Day
"We made a point to this survey, only through a telephone survey," says Alman, "We believe that although the volume of Internet use in the Haredi community is high, it is not worth the existing scope of the general public and therefore online survey suffers bias of this and does not reflect enough.

"So," adds Alman, "The volume of Internet use in the lowest echelons, is relatively low and middle upper echelons. Shas movement has traditionally been a stronghold within this public because of the social flag it carries, and these percentiles are not reflected in internet samples."

Shas leader Aryeh Deri, responded to the survey findings led by Behadrey Haredim: "The trend is not surprising us all, in all internal surveys we stayed strong and are getting stronger. And the survey matches our position in relation to other surveys.

"The real poll is Election Day and there we direct all our might, to increase the power of ultra-Orthodox Judaism and be here for the disadvantaged".

The survey was conducted during the beginning of November, a representative sample of 500 sampled from the general population in Israel aged 18 and over.

The survey was conducted by a Ti.ar.aye. Strategic studies owned by Dr. Arie Rotem, Tuck consulting company growth strategies, and Uri Alman.
