In addition, the head of the squad turned to Ibrahim Yousef al-Sheikh, about 50 years old, resident of Marah Rabah / Bethlehem, Hamas recognized his military career, and with the assistance given by the former head of the Hamas military in Bethlehem, Ali Alan (who was involved in a suicide bombing killed in clashes with IDF force) during the period he was wanted. The investigation revealed that the cell members gathered intelligence information on the minister ahead of the convoy. In recent days have been submitted to the military court in Judea indictments against those charged with conspiracy to manslaughter and weapons trafficking conspiracy.

It should be noted that following the investigations of members of the cell revealed another terrorist and separate activities, which pointed to the intentions of the Hamas military, firing at and knocking down against settlers and military forces in Gush Etzion.
