Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky sent condolences to the bereaved families following the murderous slaughter attack in Har Nof, Jerusalem.
The letter was brought to the four families by his son in law the Maggid Meisharim Rabbi Yitzchak Koldezki.
Condolence written in the name of Rabbi Chaim: that the deceased kedoshim had a tremendous privilege to die for the sanctification of G-d during Shemonei Esrai, Kriyas Shema and commemoration of Yetzias Mitzarayim, and definetely went straight to Gan Eden and their death was an atonement for the entire Klal Yisrael.
Meanwhile Hgry"m Rubin visited the residence of Hgr'ch. Hgr"ch told Rabbi Rubin that "the holy victims are atonement for the entire generation, before the coming of the messiah."
The letter ended: May you be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem and may these be the last victims of all Israel.
