IDF demolished tonight the house of the terrorist in the rampage attack

Tonight (Thursday), IDF destroyed the home of the terrorist from the rampage attack in Silwan.

In accordance with the instructions of the political leadership and the fighting against terrorism and its infrastructure, IDF engineering forces in cooperation with the teams of the Israel Police and Border Police demolished the house of Abd al-Rahman al-Shaloudi in the neighborhood of Silwan in East Jerusalem.

Demolition was carried out following the murderous rampage attack which occurred last October, in which a terrorist a resident of Silwan, frove into citizens who were standing at the light rail station at Ammunition Hill in Jerusalem.

The attack killed the baby Chaya Zissel Braun hy"d a three-month old and Yemima Muskara, a 22 year old convert. 5 other civilians were wounded. After the attack he was shot and seriously wounded, after he tried to escape his vehicle.

Last Friday, the terrorist's family received a demolition order for their home, with the possibility to appeal within 48 hours, which was not done.

The terrorist, Abd al-Rahman Shaloudi, 21, carried out a rampage attack at the light rail station at Ammunition Hill in Jerusalem. And he was shot to death while fleeing on foot.

"Demolition of terrorist's homes is a clear message to all those who seek to harm Israeli citizens and security forces," the IDF said, "There is a heavy price to pay for terrorism and harming innocent people if they choose to continue these activities."

The IDF will continue to follow the political level, with the cooperation of all security services, and will not hesitate to take all legal means available to it to strike at terrorists and their supporters, and discourage carrying out other attacks.

Last week, security forces sent a similar order to the family of terrorist Mohammed G'abis, a resident of Jabel Mukaber, who carried out the tractor attack three months ago, which killed Rabbi Avraham Wallace hy"d. A similar order was sent to the family of the terrorist Mu'ataz Hijazi who tried to assassinate Yehuda Glick who is gradually recovering from his injuries.

In the last year the homes of Kawasma and Amer Hussam Abu Aisha were destroyed, who were involved in the abduction and murder of three boys Eyal Yifrach, Naftaly Frenkel and Gilad Shaer. Likewise the home of the terrorist Ziad Awad was also destroyed, who killed a police officer Baruch Mizrahi on Passover eve.
