Resident of Netanya was attacked tonight (Sunday) by a group of masked young Arabs while driving his car at the entrance to Taybeh. He managed to flee and the youngsters set the car on fire.
A Netanya resident on his way home arrived at the Taybeh Bridge (south to north). Dozens of residents who demonstrated and rioted on the scene stopped his vehicle. After escaping from his vehicle, it was set on fire and burned.
The driver himself was collected by a local and brought to a police force in the area. He did not need medical treatment.
During the day, Arabs rioted in Qana, Taybeh and Jerusalem. There were a number of incidents of stone throwing and a few light injuries. Over 30 Arabs were arrested in the northern district.
Tonight too, near the village of Turan in the Galilee, dozens of youngsters threw stones on the main road and were dispersed by police. Three suspects were arrested.
Stone throwing occurred this evening at Umm al-Fahm as well: After a rally following the shooting of Hamdan, four suspects, including three minors, suspected of throwing stones at Highway 65, were arrested.
