Baruch Dayan Ha'emes: at the Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer, Rabbi Aharon Aryeh (Ahrale) Berliner z"l, of the Gur Hasidim in Bnei Brak, passed away after midnight. The deceased harbored a malignant disease in his body for the last two years. He was 28 at his death.

The late R' Aharon z"l was born in Bnei Brak on 24th Tishrei 5747, the youngest son of his father Rabbi Yitzchak Berliner and in his youth studied at the Gur yeshiva in Haifa.

He was the founder of the Hasidic Shtibel on Abarbanel Street in Pardes Katz – for the younger generation in Gur. He gave shiurim in it and was considered the mentor of the mispalelim in the Shtibel.

During his illness, his friends took upon themselves good deeds for his complete recovery. After he appeared to be recovering, the disease returned and overcame him.

One of his closest friends told Behadrey Haredim: "He was a jovial, all neshoma and kindness, a precious and noble man, he worked for a living in the Tel Aviv chevra kadisha, he was indifferent to death. All of a sudden, it hit him."

He is survived by two girls, and a teary community at the passing in his prime.

The funeral will leave today (Sunday) at 11:00 am from his parents' home on 7 Donolo Street in Bnei Brak, and pass through the Hasidim's shtibel on Abarbanel Street, on its way to the Kiryat Shaul cemetery where he will be buried.

May his soul be bound in the bond of life.
