Once again an accident on the bloody traffic route: Rabbi Sender Zelfreund, 61, a resident of Petah Tikva, was seriously injured in a car accident on Jabotinsky Street in Petah Tikva.
The casualty is a familiar figure in Kiryat Baal Shem Tov in Ganei Hadar suburb of Petach Tikva, and serves as a senior kashrus supervisor of Hagaon Rabbi Moshe Landau.
The Rabbi was injured shortly before 17:00 on Jabotinsky corner Hayetzira Street in Petah Tikva, by a bus.
One of his friends told Behadrey Haredim, that the Rabbi was on his way home, from a restaurant he supervises. MDA medics and paramedics together with Ichud Hatzala drives of Dan district gave him primary health care. He was taken to the nearby Beilinson Hospital in critical condition.

MDA paramedic Meir Tabbak who tended to the wounded, said: "A man of about 65 was lying on the road dazed and with head trauma, next to him was a bus with a shattered windshield. We provided primary health care to the wounded and evacuated him to a hospital urgently in serious condition. A 38 year old bus passenger was lightly bruised, she was treated by us and taken by MDA MICU to hospital. "
