New Yorkers policemen saved a Haredi family in distress when they returned their lost passports minutes before their scheduled flight.

The Filler couple and baby left their home yesterday (Sunday) morning towards JFK Airport, where they were to board a flight to London.

Upon arrival at the airport, the couple noticed that the suitcase containing their tickets and passports had disappeared, and apparently was forgotten on the sidewalk near their home.

The husband hurried back to his house to pick up the suitcase. Meanwhile, passersby noticed the suitcase without owners and rushed to inform the police about it.

Two police officers arrived and opened the suitcase and immediately noticed the passports and airline tickets. They also peeked at the date and time the couple were supposed to fly. The police were resourceful, went into their van and rushed to the airport. They identified the woman at the airport by the image which appeared on the passport and returned the suitcase.

The woman hurried to call her husband he returned immediately. They did not manage to board the destined flight and took the later flight but thanked the two policemen for their extraordinary act.
