Who protects haredi soldiers? Yesh Atid

MK Shimon Solomon and MK Ronen Hoffman of Yesh Atid filed a complaint with the Israeli police against perpetrators of the 'Hardakim' campaign, which shows haredi soldiers as pigs.

Following publication featuring the haredi IDF soldiers in the form of pigs, Solomon filed on his own and on behalf of Hoffman, complaints at the heart of Tel Aviv police station, for incitement to violence and insulting a public official.

The MK's also sent a letter to Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein and demanded a criminal investigation.

"In the past two years, every few months, campaigns that incite against haredi soldiers show up. We must protect the haredi public which serves and contributes from the attacks of violence by the haredi community. It is inconceivable that a Jew can not walk down the street or pray in a synagogue for fear that he will be attacked physically or verbally," he said.
