'Hardakim' attacks return: Tonight (Sunday), at around 19:00pm, IDF soldiers were attacked near the Itskovitch shull on Harav Shach Street in Bnei Brak.
A group of about 20 officers in the Home Front Command toured in Bnei Brak, and were attacked by worshipers from Itzkowitz who shouted "Hardakim" and attacked them.
Shaul Kroizer, an eyewitness, told Behadrey Haredim: "About 20 soldiers, including Haredi ones, secular and women, passed near the shull, probably as part of a tour.
"Some young people, probably from the 'Jerusalem stream', began shouting at them 'Hardakim, Hardakim'. The soldiers responded by shouting back".
It was not long, and some spectators, who are not soldiers, intervened in favor of the soldiers. The young people were not content with silencing the protesters but attacked them violently and laid them on the sidewalk, as you can see in the video that I documented, until they saw me and told me to stop taking pictures."
"It's a shame that shortly after the Home Front Command soldiers risked their lives protecting the lives of the residents of the country they get such a reception," said one of the eyewitnesses who silenced the protesters. "Will when, G-d forbid, a war breaks out again here in Bnei Brak, they do not want the Iron Dome defense or HFC alarm? Is there not a minimum of gratitude, that's why I protested," he explained. "However," he added, "there was no place for violence."
