Hot car: five kids, four cars, one disaster
This morning police broke into a car in Elad and rescued a toddler whose father was praying shacharit, later rescued children who were locked in a car in Nahariya and Givat Shmuel • At noon came the disaster: two year old, forgotten by his mother in Yehud, passers-by broke into the vehicle and rescued him in critical condition, and after a struggle for his life - he died in hospital • police are investigating the incident

The third time it ended in disaster: In the afternoon (Friday) a two year old baby was found locked in a car in Yehud, and was evacuated to hospital whilst performing resuscitation - where he later died.
At 14:51 MDA Yarkon delivered a baby who was in a locked vehicle in Yehud. Medics and paramedics MDA provided medical care and evacuated to Tel Hashomer hospital while performing resuscitation to the baby who was in critical condition.
It is still not known how long the child was in the closed car.
Sapphire Teitelbaum, an emergency medical technician at the center of Magen David Adom Station, briefed the citizens who called the hotline to start basic resuscitation while dispatching MDA paramedics to the scene.
Dimitry Malkin, MDA paramedic who arrived first place, says: "I saw people performing CPR on the child lying on the sidewalk unconscious not breathing and without a pulse. The child was very hot and we immediately started to perform advanced resuscitation including massages, spirits and drugs, and later we evacuated him in critical condition to Tel Hashomer hospital whilst continuing resuscitation.
Mobile Police Station arrived. An initial police investigation indicates that apparently the baby was left in the car by his mother who returned from shopping with another daughter aged six and sister and mother. After about 40 minutes she realized she had forgotten the baby and hurried to the car.
Earlier in the day, fire fighters rescued two toddlers locked in a vehicle in Nahariya. The team shattered the windshield of the vehicle and rescued the toddler unharmed. It is important to note that the parents were next to the vehicle all the time which apparently got locked.
This morning Rosh Haayin police were called after a civilian noticed a baby locked in the car, on Yochanan ben Zakai Street in Elad. The police noticed a vehicle with a baby locked in a seat, red and sweating and in life-threatening condition. The police smashed the windshield of the vehicle and rescued the baby. The baby did not need medical treatment and his parents who were not identified was taken to the police station. Shortly afterwards his father came to the station after Morning Prayer and circumstances of the case are being investigated.
In the afternoon, at about 12:00, received a report on the forgotten baby car near Givat Shmuel shopping mall for half an hour. Hatzalah volunteers mebroke into the vehicle, and held the child who was miraculously good condition, until the arrival of the father from the mall.
