Stones on way from Tel Zion: toddler injured

Stones were thrown at a bus which made its way from haredi settlement Tel Zion • three year old wounded in the head by shrapnel from glass

Three-year-old girl was slightly injured by stones in a bus which made its way from the haredi settlement of Tel Zion.

At about 21:00 tonight, bus 145 which was on its way from the village of Tel Zion towards Jerusalem, was stoned in Uzi Narkis Avenue, Jerusalem.

MDA and Hatzalah teams gave medical care to a two and a half year old child who was wounded in her head by glass sharpnel.

Mobile Intensive Care Unit of MDA Jerusalem evacuated the victim to continue medical treatment at Hadassah Hospital in the city when her condition is mild.

Following the incident, police are searching to locate the stone throwers.

About an hour earlier, a Molotov cocktail was thrown at a bus on Route 505 between Tapuah to Migdalim in Samaria. The bus driver was lightly wounded by glass shrapnel in his hand when the windshield shattered.

In the afternoon, Arab youths threw stones at the light rail in Shu'afat, Jerusalem, police forces arrested five residents of Shu'afat who are minors, suspected of throwing stones, for questioning.
