Summer vacation in America continues to take a deadly toll: Lakewood 5-year-old girl who took a vacation in the Catskills with her family, was injured today (Sunday) afternoon in a car accident, and died shortly afterward.
The incident occurred in Park Bungalow Colony in Woodridge, at 3 pm (local time), when the girl Rivka Weinman played outside her home when a car hit her, injuring her critically.
Ambulances of Hatzalah Catskills, which arrived on the scene together with local police found the badly injured girl without a pulse and not breathing. Hatzalah drives attempted CPR on her, while transfering her to a local hospital, but after a little while she passed away.
The date of the funeral has not yet been determined.
