Murder in Miami: Rabbi Yosef Raksin z"l shot dead
Two youngsters shot rabbi who was on his way to Shachris on Shabbos, and he died in hospital from his injuries • background to the event is not yet known

Miami: on Shabbos morning Rabbi Yosef Raksin z"l, who was on his way to shull, was shot dead.
According to a report on NBC, the incident occurred at about 9:00 am on Shabbos. Rabbi Raksin walked by foot on 800th Street to 175NE Street in the city, on his way to the shull where he davens.
Two young men shot at him and injured him seriously. The two escaped, one on foot and the other by bike.
Rabbi Raksin was evacuated by helicopter in critical condition to the trauma room at a local hospital, where he died of his wounds.
Police have no description at this time of the shooters, and it remains unclear whether the shooting is his Jewish background.
