Flatbush: the large "Pomegranate" supermarket located in Flatbush New York, owned by a Satmar Hasid, fired one of its employees who expressed support for Hamas.

Extremists, who were furious, came out against him using posters.

Posters published in Flatbush and Boro Park said: "On behalf of thousands of students and followers of the Satmar Rebbe zy"a, we are shocked and we strongly protest the terrible crime, that a follower of the method of Rabbeinu Hakodosh of Satmar zy"a, hung a sign in his store stating his "supports for the state of Israel and its war against Hamas, and dismissed one of his workers whom he discovered is against the Zionists and against the war with the Arabs."

It further states "until he does not repent we must remove him from the community of and he must stand in isolation."
