Battle in Jerusalem: who gets the Haredi education portfolio?

Nir Barkat , Mayor of Jerusalem , opened this weekend in the coalition negotiations , when Barkat's men met with representatives of religious parties in the municipality .

Another channel was against the Bnei Torah. Rumors circulated claiming that the party will get, besides deputy mayor granted to Chaim Epstein, the control of all the Haredi education system. This weekend also officially opened coalition talks between Barkat and representatives of Yahadut Hatorah - MK Uri Maklev, MK Yaakov Asher, MK Meir Porush and the Mayor of Bnei Brak Hanoch Zeibert.
