Mrs Esther Ovadia a"h passed away in Jerusalem this morning at the age of 80. Wife of Rabbi Naim Ovadia z"l, brother of Hgr"o Yosef zt"l

Baruch Dayan Haemes: Mrs Esther Ovadia a"h passed away in Jerusalem this morning at the age of 80. She was the wife of Rabbi Naim Ovadia z"l, brother of Hgr"o Yosef zt"l who passed away on Sukkot at the age of 92.
The deceased was born in Israel in Tevet תרצ"ד to her father Rabbi Yaakov Yirchei z"l.
She was known as a good hearted and modest woman, who stood by her husband's side in poverty and raised her children to Torah and fear of Heaven.
She left after her a beautiful generation – sons studying Torah. Her son in law is Hgr"y Tupik, Rosh Yeshiva of Beer Yehuda.Her funeral will be held today at 15:00 at Har Hamenuchos where she will be laid to rest alongside her husband Naim z"l.
