One of the arguments between the coalitions parties are on the verge of a solution. Part of the coalition agreement the party has insisted on eliminating future funding of ultra-Orthodox yeshiva students from abroad to study in Israel, and in the last state budget Ministry of Finance canceled the budgeting of 50 million.

But this morning reveals journalist Ze'ev Kam from Ma'ariv, that after intensive talks between the Finance Minister Yair Lapid and MK Elazar Stern, agreement was reached between the two that the budget will be returned next year, at 50 million, to yeshivas where foreign students are studying and in return Zionist values will be added to their studies .

MK Stern, who initiated the program in cooperation with Lapid told Ma'ariv, "Budgeting students who come to Israel from abroad contributes to the state, and makes many of these students settle in the country , so it was important to reach an outline that continues their budgeting."

The plan was formulated; each Orthodox student who will be coming to Israel from abroad must accept compulsory education series which will deal with the values of Zionism. Part of their course the students will visit military bases that soldiers of the Nahal Haredi serve, will meet with them and get them explanations about their military service and integration of Haredi life in military missionary with a view to encourage future students to join the army. Pupils will also visit military memorial sites such as Latrun and ammunition Hill.

In addition, students will participate in the seminar on Holocaust memorial held at Yad Vashem museum. Haredi students will also have workshops and tutorials on major milestones in the way of Zionism which is to connect them to the state, parallel to Torah study.

The plan is supposed to be spread out over the school year. According to MK Stern, it is actually a birthright for Orthodox students, analogous to the familiar program, in which Jews come to Israel from around the world.
