"That Rasha, healthy horse, almost killed me"

A day after the brutal attack by Yehuda Piltz from Modiin Illit, Rabbi Moshe Yehuda Schneider tells what happened.

"Whon would have thought, who ever saw such a thing, fear took hold of me when I witnessed what happened, I never thought such a thing could take place.

This disastrous thing happened and this dog as Hgray"l took hold of the pure body of Rabbeinu and shook him hard, words cannot describe it.

When we got hold of the Rasha and tried to disconnect him from Rabbeinu he wouldn’t let us, but pulled Rabbeinu with him and there was fear for his life until Hashem gave Rabbi Avraham Sheinin the idea to bite him and only then did he let go and we threw him out.

It is hard for me to tell, for two days I have been shocked by what happened.
This morning when I asked Rabbeinu how he is feeling, he said his chest hurts and added, "that Rasha, that healthy horse almost killed me… had you not caught him and disconnected him from me."

I am shocked by what we have reached, where such an idea comes to a man who comes with a sefer in tow in middle of learning. What have we come to?
