Brutal assault of Hgray"l Steinman shocks the ultra-Orthodox world: at around 5:30 in the morning room Orthodox resident of Kiryat Sefer , 28, came to the house of Hgray"l Steinman on 5 Chazon Ish- and attacked him physically , while sitting and studying with a chavrusa at a fixed time that takes place every morning before sunrise.

According to the Shomrim chairman, Chaim Rotter, the attacker managed to get into the room of Hgray"l, where he attacked him and shouted at him.
