Sixth earthquake in the north. For the second time this morning (Tuesday) a slight earthquake was felt in Tiberias . Noise level of 3.3 on the Richter scale. No injuries or damage.
This is the sixth number of earthquakes which was felt in recent days in the north and caused anxiety among residents.
Geophysical Institute reported that the quake epicenter was felt north of the country was about five miles north east of Kibbutz Ginosar at the Kinneret.
Environment Minister Amir Peretz, will increase the patrols professionals in enterprises in the Northern and Haifa, and recently the Ministry inspected hazardous materials and storage ways in factories and their compliance during a possible earthquake.
In addition, Peretz ordered to refresh the guidelines of the office activities in an emergency situation and office practice room.
MK Eli Yishai, chairman of the Home Front Preparedness Committee, ordered the special session of the Committee in light of the wave of earthquakes. "Wave of earthquakes affecting the region requires a comprehensive examination of the state and the home front ready for any possible scenario that could come as a result of the earthquake, and we should not ignore these symptoms which recently beset us even more. Therefore, I ordered a special session of the Commission early next week to test readiness of the state, indicate if there are deficiencies and require repair soon. We must be ready in every situation possible and not be complacent. "
