IDF revealed today (Monday) a bomb was placed in Kisufim, along the Gaza Strip border. Cargo successfully defused by engineering forces that were called to the scene.

Cargo was discovered during a routine road opening performed by Golani, stationed in the area. These identified the cargo and summoned Special Forces Combat Engineering Corps to the scene, and successfully neutralized the charge - no casualties and no damage. This is a powerful charger that could cause significant damage and cause casualties - even if they were in an armored vehicle.

Last week, IDF forces uncovered a terrorist tunnel dug from the Gaza Strip, about two miles into Israeli territory to the area of Kibbutz Ein Hashlosha. Lighting and railways were discovered in the tunnel for transporting a small trolley, apparently intended to move terrorists or soldiers kidnapped from side to side quickly. It is estimated the tunnel was built over a year ago.
