Hgray"l and Hgr"ch published letters against Bnei Torah

The day before the election: Hgray"l Steinman and Hgr"ch Kanievsky published this morning (Monday) letters in which they call to vote for Yahadut Hatorah and go against the Bnei Torah list.


Hgray"l asked the yeshiva students not to use violence: "As we stand before the elections on the agenda I ask the yeshiva students not to be led into arguments and certainly not come to violence forbid, that it is not our way ."

The arguments that Bnei Torah point writes: "We do not feel their lies and which false various claims, and everyone knows that always went to those who fear the truth and there is no reason to retire from the public, Heaven forbid collaborate with people intending to harm or intent and other evils, and God have mercy on his people Israel, and everyone will go the way of truth and we all merit to sanctify the name God."

Hgray"l notes at the end that he is grieving, "writing and signing with grief."

Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky writes: "On the eve of elections, Winter תשע"ד: absolute obligation on anyone who has the right to vote to vote for Yahadut Hatorah, as ordered by Hgray"l, and must refrain from voting in any way , that refrains honor of God.
In regard to the list competing against Yahadut Hatorah, Hgr"ch writes: "And here in recent years people who are empty and daredevils with controversy got up and cause arguments and speak aginst the Gedolei Hador Hgray"l and challenge his leadership."

"And really the sole purpose and plot is to deny the concept of Gedolei Hatorah as it was and will be in all ages, and declare and say, We have no part in David, neither inheritance for us in Ben Yishai, each will do as he pleases, and now increased to start a political party, oh to us that we today honor the Torah humiliated to the underworld and how will we teach the love of Torah to the younger generation."
"Now the world is not cheap and has been said to our sages, each humiliating scholar has no part in the next world, and should stay away from them and not help them in any way or be a partner in those going against Talmidei Chachamim, nor vote for them. All thise who vote for gimmel will be blessed and merit nachas from his children, and may we merit the geula soon Amen, Chaim Kanievsky."
