Chairman of Habayit Hayehudi Minister Naftali Bennett visited this morning (Sunday) Harav Ovadia Yosef 's house to comfort his sons .

Bennett said that "Even last week when I was in the Jewish communities in the world Jews prayed in memory of the Rabbi, his death has united the entire Jewish people. The Rabbi's sons told Bennett that the rabbi wanted to meet him a few days before Rosh Hashana and didn’t manage, and asked him to take care of the Jewish identity of the children in Israel and recognize basic concepts in ancient Israel.

The sons present: Rabbi Moshe Yosef, Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef, Rabbi Avraham Yosef, Adina Bar Shalom, the daughter in law Yehudit Yosef and other family members.

Rabbi David Yosef chose not to be present.
