Hgr"s Amar participated in a rally in memory of Hgr"o and reminisced • When did Hgr"o say "Maran says not to, but Shlomo Amar says that there is division"?

Yesterday (Motzei Shabbos) the Rishon Lezion, Hgr"s Amar participated in a rally in memory of Harav Ovadia Yosef, which hundreds of residents of Ashdod attended. The assembly was held in the Yeldei Yaakov and Sagi center in the city. Part of the city's rabbis's took part, Rabbi Avraham Hafota, and the main burden was undertaken by Hgr"s Amar .
During his speech he spoke about some fascinating anecdotes about the teaching of Maran zt"l as he had witnessed.
"One day I happened to be at the residence of Maran zy"a, and found him deep in his usual learning. His power of concentration was something that didn’t exist, but that day I stood next to him for over ten minutes. I was afraid to disturb him. I saw that he is not of this world. After some time his son passed by and asked, are you still standing? He really had to wake him, not from his sleep, but his learning, the Torah which he was delved into. Maran looked up and saw me, said, 'sit'. I sat down and immediately he gave me a book. It was the book 'Chesed Lealafim'. He told me 'read'. I was very scared. It was an unbelievable experience; it was as if he wasn’t here."
"I took the book and he showed me the chapter, but I wasn’t sure if I should read loudly or to myself. I was afraid to ask. I began reading quietly to myself and I saw he was watching me. I saw a vowel in handwriting and I stood up. Maran said nu? I said that I think it is better without the vowel. He asked why I think so. I began explaining myself. We spoke about it for 20 minutes, each time I ask forgiveness and explain my opinion. At the end he said to me: You are right, the vowel is not necessary. Then he said: I also wrote that a vowel is not necessary before you came, but I wanted another opinion in order to make sure."
That was his greatness. People think Maran would give a psak offhand. But the truth is that every psak was given after checking it out day and night until he gave his opinion."
Throughout the years we knew that we have Maran, that he is our backbone, without him we are helpless. I don’t know how we can continue from now on. We must daven to Hashem to send us mashiach quickly", Hgr"s Amar ended his words.
