"R' Aharon Leib is the Chafetz Chaim of our generation"

The assembly of Rabbis of Degel HaTorah in Jerusalem was opened by Hagaon R' Shlomo Neiman, Rav of the Ramot neighborhood, "I did not come to say droshos, but only to tell some facts about the leader of the faithful Judaism, director of the path of Degel HaTorah movement. "My father of blessed memory told us that Gedolei Hador in Brisk expressed themselves regarding R' Aharon Leib even as a young boy of 14 years - that 'a new Chofetz Chaim is growing here!" "And if the Chofetz Chaim was here today, would anyone dare question him, G-d forbid! Harav Neiman continued: "In the last parsha we read that Hashem made the firmament so that it would distinguish between water and water, "Vayikra Elokim larakia shomayim". When each one is in place, the person is healthy, and when there is an internal war between these components a person gets sick and we ask Hashem to send a recovery from heaven, as heaven made union between fire and water, "ose shalom bimromav", so we ask that we be healthy, that there would not be a dispute within the human body.

"Today, the Chofetz Chaim of this generation is Maran Rosh Hayeshiva, and what Maran instructs to do, is incumbent upon us as the imperative of our holy Torah, "ve'asisa kechol asher yorucha!"

He concluded his words with the question why in the Shabbos tefilla we devote a special prayer "ufros aleinu sukas sheloimecha" for Jerusalem, after having mentioned "al Yisroel" – for Yerushalayim is also included in this. But, especially in the city of Yerushalayim in which the Beis Hamikdash is, the Satan seeks to prosecute, and therefore we have that special prayer "ufros aleinu sukas sheloimecha"
