Tragedy in Jerusalem: A baby was found dead

A 7 months old baby lost consciousness at a nursery on Shmuel Hanavi Street in Jerusalem. Hatazalah and MDA performed a life-saving resuscitation, but after about 20 minutes she was declared dead.

This is a baby who was in nursery school, and after the carer saw baby is not responding, she called the rescue and following resuscitation attempts she was declared dead. ZAKA team and police were called to the scene.

Izaak Katz Hatzalah, said: "This is a tragedy, the carer put the baby to sleep and a few hours later discovered that the toddler is unconscious, I and other paramedics of Hatzalah tried to save her life and, we performed CPR but unfortunately we were forced to determined her death."

By the assistance of ZAKA yje toddler's body was released for burial.

Jerusalem police that at this stage there is no suspicion of foul play.
