Tragedy in Mexico: Malka Dworkin, 72 year old Orthodox woman and a resident of Toronto, who was on holiday in Mexico, was murdered during a robbery in the home she was staying.
The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon: Robbers broke into the home Dworkin was staying at, found the old woman alone - and beat her violently.
The victim was transferred in critical condition to a local hospital, and her family in Toronto triggered the Orthodox activists in Mexico, they were able to take her to hospital Kingston Bauntoriu, considered the best treatment in cases of severe injury.
Unfortunately, when she arrived at the hospital, she died. Toronto community activists worked to prevent desecration of the dead, and her coffin will be buried in the Holy Land on Sunday.
