Nachman Berland, the son if the Shuvu Banim leader, who was released before Rosh Hashana to house arrest together with his son, was arrested again on Thursday, on suspicion that he sent two of his associates to hit a man two years ago. His detention was extended until today.

Today, Berland was brought again for a remand hearing, during which his detention was extended until Friday – Chol Hamoed Sukkos. Together with him was arrested Victor Nachman Zeitoun, and his detention was also extended until Friday,

During the hearing, it implied from the police representative Eran Hochberg who serves as a state witness in the 'Berland club' case, as defined by the police - against the suspects Nachman and Nathan Berland, Menachem Yeshurun and Aaron Tfilinsky, said attorney Ariel Atari representing Berland.

According to police representative Sergeant Itzik Levy Nachman Berland is suspected that three years ago conspired with Victor Nachman Zeitoun and Aaron Schwartz for arson crime type and intent of aggravated assault, but was actually just an attempt of arson and assault, and the act was not performed.

According to planning, the plan was to set fire to the office of Mordechai Regev, a relative of Eran Hochberg. Zeitoun and Schwartz came to the office and in their instruments arson and assault vessels.

Third partner in crime, Aaron Schwartz, was arrested last Wednesday and was questioned under caution, extended his term until yesterday, when he was brought before Judge Yaron Mintkevich.

Lawyer Halevy said during the debate: "The actions in investigation, the respondent allegedly admitted the charges against him and spelled out full details to police officials. In these circumstances it is impossible to say that these are actions that warrant continued investigation. Regarding the disruption, he collaborated in the investigation and interrogation condition worsened, and his latest interest that interfere with the investigation against the officials who are already with the police."

However, the judge did not agree and stated: "The release of the respondent may affect a significant portion of operations, and there are many significant actions which cannot reasonably be performed when the respondent is released." Following this he was remanded by four days - until Wednesday.

Recall, after more than three weeks in detention, the four Shuvu Banim inmates were released on erev Rosh Hashan under limiting conditions agreement, which include cash deposits which amounts 50-100 thousand in cash and guarantees of hundreds of thousands.

Last week Tehilla Berland, wife of the leader of Shuvu Banim was arrested, and was released to house arrest under restrictive conditions.
During the hearing, Rebbetzin Berland behaved abnormally and said that she is guilty of all. She was from the discussion. Only after the rules were clarified to her again, she was returned to the courtroom.

Suspects arrested over a month ago by the Border Police's Central Unit, are suspected that in the past few months engaged in money laundering of hundreds of thousands of shekels, and fraud related to the assets and funds of the community of Shuvu Banim.
