How were the tefillos in different Hassidic and other Jewish communities on Yom Kippur? Who broke the records buying Maftir Yonah?

A record was broken when at the Great Synagogue in Moscow under the presidency of Harav Pinchas Goldschmidt, Maftir Yonah was bought for 660 thousand dollars - 20 million Rubles, by one of the wealthy members.

The money will be for the community institutions including Yeshiva Toras Chaim of Hagaon Rabbi Moshe Label. In the central synagogue Beit Menachem in Marina Roscha - the Maftir was not sold, and Hagaon R' Berel Lazar was mechubad.
