Atmosphere of Yom Kippur: peace between Satmar and Toldos Aharon

Surprise in Satmar: for the first time since the Rebbe came to the throne, the Toldos Aharon Rebbe called yesterday (Wednesday) to bless and be blessed for a gemar chasima tovah.

As we know, Toldos Aharon is among the orthodox community circles, and so far has taken the controversial side Satmar, while the other faction supports the other Rebbe. This is reflected, inter alia, that publications by the community were made in the newspaper Der Yid '- belonging to the secondary stream, and not the newspaper Der Blatt, belonging to the Satmar yard.

As a basis for identification of economic interests – Toldos Aharon enjoyed budgets flowing from the Mhrz"l Rebbe, whilst Toldos Avraham Yitzchak tended rather to the second courtyard, a class of economic support.

The turnaround came this year after last terror campaign against Toldos Aharon from the Atra Kadisha regarding Golobnzitz compound. The fact that most Satmar community in Jerusalem, Hgrh"tz Teitelbaum - son of Rebbe Sages, defended hard on the status of Atra Kadisha, and supported the positions of the organization, in addition to the writings diatribe thrown by Atra Kadisha in the streets of New York against the management of Toldos Agaron, on the grounds that they are allegedly responsible for the destruction of the old cemetery.

Because of these things the chassidim came to the conclusion that probably money they would no longer see from the Rebbe Mhrz"l of Satmar, and accordingly, it was time to straighten things out and open a new page with the Satmar Rebbe's court.

Meanwhile when the Satmar Rebbe went up to the Torah on Rosh Hashana he held a mi sheberach for his brother, his brother in laws and various Rabbanim and Admorim. He added to the list this year the Rab"d, Hgr"m Shternbuch.
