After two sons died – Rav lost his little daughter

Bereavement for the third time at the residence of Rabbi Shlomo Rubin, a leading Rabbi in New York: his little daughter, aged 11 months, Hannah Rachel A"H, died this morning, after the death of her two brothers.

Rabbi Shlomo Rubin, grandson of the Rebbe of Satmar zt"l the Barech Moshe, and Rav of Beis Midrash Divrei Simcha Ziesnov in Kiryat Yoel , lost his son Aharon z"l 13 years ago, due to illness .

His second son, Yechezkel Shraga, passed away after a serious illness during Hurricane Sandy, at the age of 16.

The younger boy was born disabled, and lived in Kiryat Yoel hospice for children with disabilities. When electricity was cut during the hurricane, the institution used a generator, and one of the medical devices it used got cut off. As a result he lost consciousness and died.

Within the 'shiva' days of the bochur Yechezkel Shraga z"l, family Rubin hugged a little baby girl. But yesterday morning she died, for no apparent reason.

At night the baby suffered of high fever, and the parents immediately called a doctor to examine her. The doctor told them to go urgently to the nearest emergency room. But while doctors were checking her, her condition deteriorated and she passed away.

The funeral procession left last night from the large Beis Midrash in Kiryat Yoel. Hespedim were said by the uncle – the Satmar Rebbe, the grandfather Av Beis Din of Tzeshinov Bor Park, and the father. The infant was buried in the Satmar plot in New Jersey cemetery. The grave was dug near the burial place of her two brothers z"l.
