Precedent: Conservatives also want to provide kashrus
Precedent in kashrus • A winery in Mitzpe Rimon certifies kosher products under the supervision of the Traditional movement • Chief Rabbinate: "movement is not authorized to grant kashrus by law"

Dubious bodies, who claim to provide kashrus for various food and businesses, recently added a new player: the Conservative Movement.
It turns out that the winery "Rujum" in Mitzpe Rimon recently began marketing its products under the supervision of the Conservative movement.
In various publications the wine was presented as kosher despite the fact that the Conservative movement is not authorized to give approval under the law, nor is it clear who among Israeli consumers, is looking for its kashrus.
The market is saturated lately, with various kashrus granters, the Chief Rabbinate warns about them, that they are not qualified to give kashrus certification.
For example, rose water was recently marketed, marketed by the importer Jalal Derby from Tel Aviv. The product is marked Kosher by the body called "beis din kashrus – adorned kashrus", led by Rabbi Amram Edri and approval of the Chief Rabbinate of Israel. However, the import was informed that the product has not received the approval and body above is not authorized to give approval.
And there are those who exploit the ignorance of the people abroad, and establish a pirated kashrus body with blown up names. Such is the so called kashrus name – "orthodox Badatz of Maharal", which provides kashrus services in Prague and is named after the Maharal of Prague zt"l.
Czech Republic Rabbinate (turns out there is such a thing ...) wanted to announce that the above body is not recognized by them, and this is a private business. Rabbi of Prague clarified further that one cannot rely on the certificates issued by this body, both on the products and restaurants abroad.
