Disappointment in Shuvu Banim community of Breslev: community leader, Rabbi Eliezer Berland, stays in Morocco and will not come to Uman for the first time since the days of the nationalist Communists, for Rosh Hashana to the tomb of Rabbi Nachman of Uman.

His associates say that he "was on his way to the flight", but 'missed it' and returned to his apartment in Marrakech."

The head of the Jewish community in Marrakech, Gabi Kadosh told the 'scoops': "The Rabbi is in Morocco".

According to reports coming out from the yard, Rabbi Berland was supposed to take off from Morocco and stay in Uman during Rosh Hashanah with his followers.

Rabbi Berland found refuge in Morocco after he was wanted for questioning by the Israeli police. Police sources revealed great interest in rumors, since Ukraine has an extradition treaty with Israel.

In recent days the rabbi's associates claimed that "the rabbi will not stay for Rosh Hashanah in Uman."
