Following painful budget cuts on Torah world, mobilizing donors all over the world to support and assist yeshiva and kollel students.

The day after the Ministry of Religious Affairs budget cuts, Mir yeshiva handed out students scholarships for the month of Iyar and Sivan, not yet transferred so far. Next week, yeshiva students are expected to have the scholarship of Tammuz, plus a bonus for the holidays. B'Chadrei Charedim has learned that a wealthy woman, resident abroad, contributed $6 million to the yeshiva, which allowed the payment of the debt.

Mir note that it is precedent, as the first yeshiva students receives two checks of salaries in one go.

Also Chemnitz yeshiva students received last week a special grant of one hundred dollars for the holidays, thanks to a donation given by one of the contributors in the last week - as an answer to the brutal cuts against the Torah world.

Other yeshivas related that last week there has been a surprising revival among many supporters of Torah, whose hearts ached in light condition of the labors of the Torah. "It is much more surprising. Lapid thinks he harasses us and be able to dry us out. But not a widower in Israel and Hashem awakes the hearts of the supporters, who do not stand on the side and with this contribution clarify: we'll manage without you, the world of Torah doesn’t lean on your charity," says the yeshiva manager.
Donors recruited: Kollel avrechim will receive 8000 NIS

Kollel network Yissachar Beoholecho which numbers more than 1400 learners across the country, headed by Rabbi Yissachar Weisburd, has known hard times in recent months: Kollel heads found it difficult to give the yeshiva students their salaries, due to heavy deficits, budget cuts and lack of support and more.

The network is divided into different branches, some of which Hgray"l Steinman found patrons to sponsor. Those actually had no problem and scholarships were transferred every month. But the other branches yeshiva students did not receive five months of their salaries, although it should be noted that Religious Affairs wages were received each month.

Last month head of the network in the United States, tried to recruit governors to contribute for yeshiva students and cover the deficit.

These days yeshiva students were informed that the mission succeeded in: For Rosh Hashana they will receive 8000 NIS for all months. Every young man has already felt in his bank account the advance of NIS 2500 which entered during the last days – and until Rosh Hashana the scholarship will be completed and will come into the bank accounts of yeshiva students.

In a letter published Tuesday in Yated Ne'eman, the Kollel management thanks the governors standing to the right of the Kollel world, adding in their letter that "the Torah friends wanted say that they cherish, appreciate and love the Torah scholars."
